Hi,
I have tried sending a couple of pics to 2 of my friends mobiles (v500 and v550) using my v600 but they do not seem to connect. I am able to search for their signal etc, I get as fr as managing to "seek" the connection link but it doesnt go any further.
Is there any known problem relating to the v500 series that they cannot recieve files through bluetooth? If my friend sends a file to me via bluetooth it works fine.

What are the steps you use to send wallpapers to other BT phones?

Use "Find Me" within the V500 bluetooth settings
Enter a picture or mp3 file on V600 phone
Go to "Copy" on the V600
Search for Devices
Find and enter the V500 that appears on the results screen
Attempts to "Seek" (assumed seeking a connection?)
This is where is dies.
If the roles are reversed i.e. the V500 send a picture to the V600 this will work fine.

I just tried it out with my BT dongle. It transferred fine from V600 to pc. Its not the same as to transfering to other phone, but close.

Thanks, I should have explained that sending out files to other phones (such as Sony) will work and connect fine. Unfortunatly this is not the case between V500 and V600.

The issue here is you're not able to receive file fromV500, but are able to transfer file to the V500 phone?

Hi duceduc,
The problem was the opposite to what you explained above. The problem has been sorted now.
We tried again after the weekend and it worked. The settings on the v500 may have needed a restart of the phone before they worked. We changed the bluetooth power to "on" etc.
