Live update only updates to 3.11h and then says I'm completely up to date. I'm only using a USB2 cable because my laptop doesn't support BT, the cable came with my Mp3 player and is quality... Hmmmmm....

Recent developement: I just opened up MMExplorer.exe as I was typing this message and everything seems to be working fine. Hmm. The only thing that I can think of that is different is that I was charging but pluging the phone back in with the charger didn't do anything. Hmm, wish I knew what fixed it but thank you all for the help.

I just picked up an A630 and have loaded Mobile Phone Tools and patched to 3.19e. After getting the Bluetooth working with Windows XP SP2, I am able to sync fine, but the Multimedia Center doesn't function at all, and it makes the phone on the desktop appear to disconnect.

Does your phone model show on your screen or is a generic brand. How can I change it?

I had the exact same problem where everything worked except the multimedia explorer. What I did was disconnect the battery & SIM card, waited 20 seconds, reconnected them and turned the phone back on and plugged in the charger and USB cord and then to my surprize the multimedia explorer actually worked and now I can finally bring SEXY BACK for my ring tone!

i was hoping someone could help me. i have a silver V3 razr and i wanted to connect it to Mobile phone tools. i did not recieve the software with my phone i got it off a friend, and am using the USB cable from my camera. once i connect it to the computer it starts installing, but once it gets to the end a window pops up and says that MPT wont function without a mobile device installed do you want to install one now? if i click on yes it just keeps repeating over and over but neer actually installs the phone.

someone please help!

I had this problem, if you install RSD lite 2.5+ it'll work.
