Hi, I have installed MPT and updated it and it has worked fine but quite often it says that the phone is not connected even though it is, is this a programme bug or am I doing something wrong?
The other thing is, how can i delete the locked content in the phone such as photos and sounds as to be able to liberate more space in the memory.
thanks a lot to anyone that can help

Do you use the same usb port everything you plug the phone in or different ones?
To delete locked files, you need p2kman software. Be careful not to delete files which are needed to run certain features of the phone.

I digged this link up from the back post about deleting files..
Each phones varies on which files you can and cannot delete. I suggest you open up p2kman with the phone plug in and compare what you want to delete in your phone picture folder and verify the same file in p2kman.

Right, here is the situation
to start off with, my phone is a c650
I had it working perfectly, but now it just keeps saying that the phone is not conected, so i reinstalled mobile phone tools and upgraded it and went through the process of searching for my phone through the usb port (this took ages) it eventually did this but a different phone skin appeared. This is very frustrating since i have just made a lot of new real sound ringtones up.
The USB port I am using is the same i use for the internet therfor I have to unplug one to connect the other, i could understand how this could cause a conflict but i don´t understand why it worked before and not now.
I would be very grateful if somebody could help me out as soon as possible, and if you can help out and if you leave your email i will send you some of the ring tones i made, they include Born Slippy, Every Me & Every You, Smallville Theme, Song 2 and Still Dre

I turned my phone off and then turned it back on and it started to work fine.
I deleted the ring tone i had transfered over a few days ago and was actually using on the phone, then all the tones i had put on the phone myself would only play in the multimedia area, if i set them as the default tone the phone would not ring it just told me who was calling and remained silent. I nearly shit myself!
I reset the phones theme to Moto and then it was working fine, albeit with the standard hellomoto ringtone, then i restarted the phone again and recopied the ringtones from my pc to the phone and it is working cushdy now.
Thank you for all your help, it is greatly appreciated

The Watcher:
When you are deleting wallpapers, and ringers, make sure that file is not currently being used in your ringer styles option.
