I never really used the calendar feature under MPT; however, I just tested right now it seems to work. Upon clicking on the calender icon, it gave me an error of connection. When I click on the mobile phone side colum, read, it appears to read my phone data. So, it does seem to work for me.
The phonebook icon works. It read my phone & sim listings and show a list of names on the right side colum.
I don't know how I got it to work. If you can get multimedia work, I don't see why the other features won't work the same. All these features were connected through my Dlink BT. Are you running XP with Service pack 2 installed?
