If your apt to get a usb or BT, having mpt will not work.
You can use zedge.no to d/l ringers to your phone via wap.
There are many threads here that maybe useful. Check them out if you have not already.

BT dongle (adpater) is a hardware that you can be purchased from a computer store. There are many manufacturers to choice from. I have the DLINK DBT-120.
The cable you can get from ebay. Make sure it is compat with your phone. In addition, you will have to get mpt software. brvp is the distributor.

That Dlink DBT-130 is the one I have. You should not need anything else to transfer ringers to phone. You would need to cut down the mp3 songs to 20sec. I use mp3 cutter. It has a trial period, though.

Before you buy anything... I strongly reccomend a cable over a Bluetooth... FOr 2 reasons:
1) People seem to be having much less problems with the cable
2) You can flash with cable and not with bluetooth
FOr your reference... Flashing is when you update the "firmware" on you phone to get better connection, more features.. etc

It looks like the software will do what you want it to do. File transfer?
