when we upgrade it , it became Tmo remember? and Tmo only use north america which is 1900 but try the opcode Veil and look under MSS it will so you the bandwidth . Tmo have criple it down to single band not triband any more if you buy a V600 from Tmo is only triband not quarband!!

the V180 i see is a triband
it shows
1900
900/1800
dont' show nothign else
well actually the top line is Automatic

So that thing is from Tmobile then probably! Well the opcode change but you won't see it on you fone but if you have the soft ware call MSS it will tell you what band is on , did not made different to you because where you are at 1900 work fine.

In this thread - the user has a quad band phone. What if it's just a dual band (850/1900) ?? Can it be modified to 900/1800? I used the OPCODE, and it gave me success message - but when I check the network settings - it still only shows 850/1900 (as that seems to be what the phone firmware allows). Perhaps I need to flex it???

Yes, it does change it, the only thing that doesn't show it is the software. If you wanted to check if it changed it then load up your phone on a USB cable and read the info with MSS, it will tell you what the bandwith is.
