Can you sync with pc? fone book email and all that/ or nothing at all ?
I would check you fone modem to see if it is working properly.and what port# it is in ande try to maych up setting of MPT. This also could be a problem, have you do live update ForMPT?. Your PC may have install genetic driver which may not fully function. So if all step above is not working then try this. Control panel-->Setting-->system--> device manager---> modem right click to get to it's property, chose update driver tap chose specific location(advance) DO NOT let win auto detect. Then point it to the location you strored MPT. Sample C:\program\mpt|inf this should get you the right driver. Good luck and keep posting icon_smile.gif

I had problems at the start as well. I would try uninstalling the software and the hardware (modem) via the control panel and starting again. I also found that things would only work with the little 90 degree connector thing. This may have just been a coincidence though.

Try starting with a new profile and telling it there is a new phone in the main menu.

I have had this same problem. Although my phone let me use the mobile explorer about 5 times and then it stopped and give the same error "processing failed". I've got a V551 phone, updated the program to version 3.25b and it correctly identifies my phone. I have tried different transmission speeds- which usually dont let you connect to the phone at all, reinstalling the program (and on multiple computers), re-installing the usb driver as stated in this topic, and I still recieve this same error. The confusing thing to me is that I can do every other function with MPT. Also I downloaded other programs to use with the phone and they all seem to work and read everything from the phone as well. The problem as far as I can see is that I get a timeout error when it starts the multimedia explorer. If there is any solution for this problem I would sure like to know about it. Thanks for your help
