I read my user manual and contacted Verizon and don't know how to disable get it now. My 2 year old was able to hit the button and actually almose downloaded something. he's a bit bright but, I don't want to use this feature.
As far as I can tell, you can lock your phone but, not lock features.

This is what I found in the online manual:
Using Phone Menus
Access and Options
1. Press Left Soft Key
2. Press 5 Get It Now
3. Options from here:
1 - Get It Now: To add, delete or disable Get It Now applications
