No I don't understand why your getting so many conflictions. But try uninstalling all the drivers and trying it again.

don't let windows do the search
do your own to i think: C:\Program Files\mobile PhoneTools\Inf there you should see USBMDMMOT.INF or similar
i have these folders there too:1xEV-DO_Handset_drivers,
Composer_Drivers, Generic_Serial_Driver, IrDa_Drivers, W2K_XP_USB_Drivers, Win9x_USB_Drivers, Win_98_SER, Win_XP_SER.
the one you want is in the 'composer file'...
open to any1

i have problems...when i got to dowload the driver it says the file "COMP_MDM.INF" on serial disk is need...
could u please send me the file....thxxxxx

i have also the same problem
i have orginally mobile phone suite disk but when i want to install the driver the message appears.
i searched the file on the cd but it wanst there
