I just read a review on another site that says the battery life on this phone is bad. Is this true???

I was wondering has anyone actually let their battery go low, I did and the phone completly shut off and I couldn't even use it with the charger plugged into it. The phone just shuts off and the outside light where the camera flash is flashes red. Then after the screen is black for a bit, I hit power and it went to the "charging" screen...then I waited a few mins and then I turned it back on. Has this whole messed happened to anyone else?

Well for the most part, I can play my games and talk all day long and just charge overnight. I usually have about 3 hours of talk and 30 minutes of gaming on the battery by the end of the day and still have 1 or 2 marks left. So, I would rate the battery life as outstanding.
As far as not being able to use the 'empty' battery, it seems like it has to charge for about 15 minutes before there's enough juice to make a call. This is really similar to the old NEC 525 that I had. It actually had a red light that lit up until you could make a call with it. That's something the VX7000 doesn't have, but I think it's pretty normal after killing the battery on most phones to need a bit of a boost before continuing operation.

have had mine for a couple of weeks now and can say the battery life is nice...i have noticed though,sometimes it will go from 3 bars to 1 or none, and then die, but only after not charging it for 4 or 5 days, so im not complaining
