My phone has the firewire camera connection on it, i connect it to my computer but it says i need to install software for it to function. Can anyone give me info on what software i need for my phone to function, i have bluetooth on my laptop as well but it seems that i cant transfer files through bluetooth.

If its the normal V3 iTunes is not supported and there is insufficient storage space for more than a couple of full length songs anyway

One thing you need to know is phones are fragile, motos especially, you have to treat your motorola like a little kid otherwise you'll break things. I had 2 Razr's one for a year and a half, never broke the screen. I accidentally got it wet and thats when I had to get a new one, it was completely my fault, I've had my black razr for 6 months, completely modded, and no problems, then I bought a RIZR cause the V3 is out of date now, but it still works like a charm.

The best thing though is that its easy to fix the Motorola's yourself. Mine has been snapped in half twice!

I have the latest version but it still doesn't seem to work. It just hangs while it's connected. it seems like it recognizes that it is connected by showing the clock hands, but they just keep spinning as if it couldn't negotiate properly. Is there any additional driver that I need?

Make sure you have updated the software. The lastest ver is 3.23e (something like that). Run program again. You may need to unplug usb from phone and or turn off phone while the clock is spinning.

The motorola V3m will not communicate with Motorola Phone Tools via USB IF there is a micro sd card in the phone. For whatever reason, the sd card blocks the communication and connection process.

Therefore, to upload/download info, it has to be stored on the phone's internal memory, then transferred to the memory card. Or, get a sd or micro sd card reader for your computer, download or upload away from the phone as if it were a flash drive.

My problem is I purchased stereo headsets to use with my Razrs, and then double as a MP3 player through headset. Apparently, this is not possible, I can listen through the external speaker like a bad transistor radio, but not through headphones. I am trying to find java software that allows this to happen. Otherwise, guess I will have to buy a Krzr for a mp3 player / phone combo, or?

hi all if you have a verizon phone. download this program (seen on Limewire). then go buy usb cable and you should be in business. program contains vx8300 drivers and windows media player 10 and skins. might contain drivers for other verizone phones too.
