Hi everybody!!!
I just recently bought a Prolific USB to Serial Cable off ebay to flash my E700 with new firmware. I been trying to use downloader v3.3 to do this but with no success. I looked through the forum looking for anyone with this cable but can't seem to find anyone with it.
This cable works with EasyStudio PIMS & File Manager to transfer images to the phone.
Has anyone been successful in flashing their E700 with this cable?

Google a USB to SERIAL driver to use Downloader with your Cable.

woohoo it works... i found out that i had to do a little fiddling around with the cable and cut the power out of the cable itself.
