WELL ACTUALLY I SENT MYSELF mP3 RINGTONES succesfully LIKE A WEEK AGO BUT I DID IT AGAIN SUCCESFULLY!!!!!! TODAY!! MARCH 1ST 3:00 pM .......i now have over 10 of my favorite songs (mps) and the coudnt play any better im so happy

At the vzwpix site, I can upload images and only *.wav files. When I try to upload *.mp3 or *.mid files, I get an error that prevents uploading. (These files aren't corrupt either, and they're very small).
I successfully sent a wav file to my V265, but the next problem is that it saves it as a QCP file...which also (in)conveniently cannot be selected as a ringtone.
Also, I can't email myself any files, despite using the correct format...is there something else I need to sign-up for?
Any suggestions on how to save the file as a midi file in the phone?

Did you just email the .mid file to your phone? I've tried a few times and it still won't go thru for me [but it did about 2 weeks ago]

So I just tired it again and I got an undeliverable email back, saying the address was wrong, but I used the same one mentioned in this post.

ya i just sent it to myself.......at mynumber@vzwpix. com ...........but i had no spaces in the name.......no subject or anything just the file........

Hi, I'm new so be gentle and when I say new I mean I am 30 years old and this is my first cell phone. I was wondering if someone would be so very very kind as to talk me through how to get the MP3 ringtones onto this phone, it might be kind of a geeky thing to do but I really want to be able to have my favorite song ringing. Please?????

hmmm......well wat files r u sending?? r u like editing them yourself? and how long are they???......also they shouldnt me more than like 270 kb...i used the "wal-mart method" is that what u are doing?
let me know and i will try to see if i can help some more
