i don't know what i'm supposed to do here
So i'm trying to put this SIM card of my mom's phone ( she has a samsung e316 phone with cingular) onto my phone ( i have a Nokia 3220 with Tmobile and it's prepaid) and when i put my mom's SIM card into my phone...it asks for a restriction code..so do i need the samsung e316 restriction code here or the nokia 3220 restriction code??

Every carrier's phone's are locked to their network, to unlock them you need a sim subsidy code (no one here can give it to you, contact your carrier). If you put your Tmo card in you moms Cingular phone it wont work unless the phone is unlocked and visa versa her cingular card will not work in your tmo phone.

I had no problems when I put my "Cingular" card (from SGH-N625) in the "AT&T" version.
T-Mobile SGH-E315
AT&T SGH-E316
Cingular SGH-E317
But I think it was because the 2 services are merged were I'm at (CA, USA) and on the east coast it's "Cingular Blue" or somthing like that instead of "AT&T".
The only complaint I do have is that all the extra features (call related) like the big "m>" button don't work. My problem is I can't get ringtones.

Hey, I want to unlock my SGH-E316 and I want to know if I can unlock it using the Cerebros Unlocker software, I used to have a Samsung X426 and I succesfully unlocked it using that software but I dont know if it will work in the E316 and I dont want to take the risk ´cause I dont know if it will work ok, can anyone help me please!!!

min i now this phone is sick but im just wondering if there's any code to unlock othere selection in the menu?????????
