min i now this phone is sick but im just wondering if there's any code to unlock othere selection in the menu?????????
and if u happen to know how to mute the sound when taking a picture

I also emailed you, but I was hoping you could help me. I have Cingular, but just purchased an AT&T wireless Samsung E316. I need to know how to unlock the AT&T phone to accept the Cingular sim card. Please advise. Thanks for your help!!

PLEASE IF ANYONE CAN UNLOCK A SAMSUNG E316 I WOULD BE MOST GRATEFUL!!
i bought it recently second-hand. The guy said it was unlock but i tried my sim card and it keeps saying "no service". if anyone at all could help me please email me at:

if it reads no service it means no signal is reaching the phone....
try a manual network search...
From the stand by screen select Menu by pressing the left soft key.
Scroll to Network Services and select by pressing the left soft key.
Scroll to Network Selection and select by pressing the left soft key.
Scroll to Manual and select by pressing the left soft key.
"Search for Network?" will display. Select Yes.
The device will search for all available networks. Highlight the desired network and press Select.
