how did you get just a sim card from cingular? That's what I want to do, will it not work if you just replace att's sim with the cingular? as you can tell, I'm new to all of this.

Hi, I stumbled onto this thread and was wondering if you could help me out as well. I need to unlock my Samsung e316 which I want to use with my Cingular SIM (phone is locked to AT&T.) Tried calling Samsung and AT&T to no avail but a runaround.

Homicide,
I have the samsung e-316 as well and would like help unlocking it. I'm willing to pay for help as well. I'd greatly appreciate any unlock code or site to download software from (as i already have an unlocking cable).

I would like to unlock my e316 so I can enable video by using other firmware
I'm with Rogers and the firmware disables the video option

Yea, i need help unlocking my phone its a samsung e316 and i need it to work w/ Cingular....it used to be a att wireless phone. Cingular has told me in the past that that phone is "useless" now but i know they are lying...they just think i am stupid and dont know anything bout phones. please help me find the code to unlock it so i can take it back to them and tell them what i think... thanks Stina
