Can this same method be applied to a Razr V3? Havn't been able to dig up much info on V3 modding. Thanks!

Tried but to no avail. A friend said the phone probably needed to be unlocked but was unsure. Does that sound about right? I'm fairly new to the phone modding business icon_lol.gif

No, I'm sure it has nothing to do with unlocking.

I'm trying the same thing with two phone. v3 (my dads) and v400 (mine). I was successful with the v400 but it moved the date slighty to the left as expected. What possible tip if any could center the date? I dont want to remove it but center it and make it look a bit organized.

Was going to unlock the phone anyways, will post my findings. With any luck it might do the trick, though I won't hold my breath.

Looks like I was just having some issues with p2k(as most of us newbs seem to) so these instructions do in fact work with the Razr V3.
