did you install the patch? If you didnt then extract all the files from the patch into the PST directory and allow them to overwrite the existing ones.

When you put the cable in push it and make sure you hear 1 or 2 clicks. You should be able to pull on the cable and phone with neither separating. BTW don't push the release lever down when you pull, instead pull at the sides.

That means you didn't install the patch or installed it incorrectly.

Okay. I tried it on a different computer, and again, it won't connect with multiflashflex. When I go in to device manager, it says that the USB composite device cannot start (v400).
Is anyone in or near Florida? I'm at the point where I'm willing to send the phone out and pay to have someone install this software for me...

This is the tip i got from a guy in Germany that work for XP. He tell me if you run sp1 then don't intall this update cause it will make all the problem so you may on to uninstall this update part here.

After I install PST, and tell it to restart now, I get a pop up window thats trying to install an update called Q816843. Should I install it??

I think it is ok cause the guy told me just that update alone wi'll cause all the headache
