Anyone know how to adjust a games graphic size?
I have downloaed games to my phone that play but are too big for the display so I can only see part of the screen. Or they fit the screen ,but the top and bottom are obscured by the selection menu and the phone status icons at the top.
Have a Motorola V180 and software to do what I need to the phone to make the changes. What changes do I need to make?

I would think if that was the case the game wouldn't play at all, and Yes
it may have settings for another phone, but since it does run I would think I could go into the JAR and modify a file to adjust the screen settings prior to making it into a JAD and uploading it.
Was hoping someone had done this and could advise what file held the screen settings.

I have the same problem, we could really use a fix for getting rid of the darn bar at the bottom of the screen.

Yeah this is a total pain, would you beleive in the past few months i have downloaded, rayman 3, prince of persia and Spintercell to my phone, all work great apart from one tiny little problem... the stupid little bar blocks off the bottom of the screen..( i have noticed that some games hide the bar before the game starts), surly some very freindly people could develop a program which hides it and shows it etc...pllleeeaasssssssseeeeeeeeee!!!

Well I honestly doubt you can maniuplate the jad or jar because the whole game was designed to display at such a size and I think that would make it look way worse if it was possible. So you can look for a program but I doubt they will be free or simple programs as it has a lot to change and buffer.

Yep, usually the only way you save yourself some trouble is finding the correct game in the first place. You have to match screensize with your phone or just look for games intended on the phone model period.

I found this program which will edit JAR screen sizes.
Its FULLJAVA15.EXE
Its a freeware download from an ru site.
http://fulljava.motofan.ru/dl/FullJava15.zip
Tried it and it works. Use the make backup option though.
On at least one program, had program errors.
Have Fun !
