The 4400 had a normal mode, a vibrate mode, and a silent mode. My 7000 only has the first two...
Silent mode neither rang nor vibrated.

Well, I edit the voicemail number, put the 2 sec pauses in, then my voicemailbox password it and the pound key, save it, and i don;t think anythgin is saved. it says it is, but when i go to dial my voicemail by seleting it from the messages menu, it does work the way it should and it shows it only dialing the *86.
What should I do?

make sure your going through these steps....menu...left...scroll down to voicemail (#6)(you have to scroll down)....settings(that upper left key)....6(edit voicemail number)....make sure you have...*86TTT#password....don't mean to sound rude...but make sure it's your password, not the word "Password", alot of people mix that up. save it....and then when you call your voicemail, press 1 send to call it, it's the shortcut.

Actually, I have been using the 6000 cable to load up software, ringtones, and graphics on to a 6100 and 7000. It works perfectly fine. I havent had any trouble with using the 6000 cable.

Thanks, for some crazy reason, it doesnt work if i select "voicemail" from the message menu, popup menu, etc. It only works when I use the "1+Send" method. hmm...

I don't like that the scheduler and alarm icons apear on the bottom blue bar instead on top. I have added alarm mon-fri to wake me up and the blue bar is always there....
Another two things which annoy me is that:
1) I cannot find a contact by group and then call it.
2) The search in contacts is by first letter only instead of searching the word as in other places in the menu
More details on these two in my other thread:
