Someday I changed the security code on my v600 and now I cant remember what it was, I do know the unlock code (4digits) but the other one (6 digits) I cant remember it, someone told me I needed a data cable so I bought one but now I need to know what to do with it? what software to use? thanks!.....BTW I already tried the defaults "000000" to no avail...thanks!!

wow, that sure was fast! thanks!! I bught a futuredial usb cable, do I need other sofware or usb drivers besides the ones you mentioned above? thanks again!

I have heard in the past that futuredial is not a great cable to use. Sorry to tell you this, but I could be wrong.
No extra drivers need if you have one of those two software. Good luck.

I believe you can bring it to your Provider and they can read it or unlock it but yes there will be a charge to do so. But the chances of you finding those softwares are lower than a small fee.

Data Cable:
1) MSS Read phone and change code
2) PST Create a features file then read the phone - Change code and write to the phone.
