Hi, i bought a data cable for the siemens SL65 which works through from 4x, 5x 6x etc. When plugging the data cable in, windows recognise a new USB device (USB DATA CABLE) but cant find the driver. the driver is on the CD!!! Went to siemens website, downloaded the updated driver, specified where it is but still Windows still cant find the driver. Any ideas why or anyone with the same problem?

Thanks Nathan

Just a wild guess:

The driver is an exe-file... install it and than plug-in the cable, than it should work.

When i install the .exe file from siemens, the com ports should change to allow USB interface, but this does not happen. Instead No changes from hardware occurs

I had the same problem with my Motorola Driver. I tried everything. I was shocked when I did a live update on the Moble Phone Tools and then it was able to find the driver.

Not sure if that will work for you but it did the trick for me.
Good luck, Tony

Did you try the online update? Then it should reconize the usb driver.
