Hi,
I just got an LG 5400, and I want to get rid of the startup and shut down graphic on the phone. It's a very annoying movie with guys playing football. I don't care if I replace it with something else or just erase it, I just want it gone.

I've never seen anything but the guy skating when a 5400 starts... didnt know there where a footbal thing... Anyways, there is a program called lgetflash that you can use, I changed mine for the matrix intro... and I changed the ringtones and background picttures and everything with it....

Thanks for your reply! But, I have no idea how to do this. Where do I get lgetflash? How does it work? Do I need to hook up my phone to my computer? Where do I find other intro movies to choose from? I don't even know how to download ringtones or backgrounds, so I'll need detailed instructions!

I'll find you the link later today, its a croatian website.
You'll need to use the datacable to to it, and you have to make your own 'animations' for it... ringtones and backgrounds are the same system, but it is a bit complicated and takes some time to do... maybe on msn would be the easiest thing... Gotta rush now, gotta get my daughter off to school, but I'll be bavk later *s*

I dont have a usb cable, just the datacable for the comport that came with the phone..... thats all you need...

Hmmm, I didn't get no accessory like that when I got my phone. Just one question is your phone GSM or CDMA because i think there was a LG 5400 released that has the horizontal external display. The one I have has no antenna but has a normal external display. This could explain why you get the guy skating and I get that football start up?? haha I hope i havent confused ya I appreciate the help. Thanks.

You may be onto something... Mine have a visible antenna, and its probably gsm... not that I have much idea about cellphones, I just like to 'hack' things
