ive been trying to get my phone working with my pc, finally got it to show in "my bluetooth places"... its been paired, mpt is not running, and ive asked it to detect services. the only servies that appear under the phone (v600, tmobile) are :dial up networking, inbox, and public folder.

in the public folder i have : audio/video/pictures.

thats all that shows.. i needed the OBEX so i could transfer games over...

any ideas on how to get OBEX to work?

Well just be sure that BT is enabled on the phone and the computer. Try turning them both off and reinstalling MPT. Here is the guide for installing MPT with bluetooth. Pg1 Pg2. Goodluck and let us know if you need help still.

so i figured it out... after checkin out some other screen shots i noticed that OBEX push had the same icon as my "inbox" icon... also read that the phone kind of acts like its getting a business card when u send a game.. so i put two and two together.... so i opened the double clicked "Inbox" and opened it and pasted there.. and it works. great now. phew.

if anyone is having similar problems, try to paste into the INBOX folder, if you dont have a designated PUSH folder.

Check out my screen shots earlier in the post to see the inbox icon, and find the icon u have that looks like that. I had OBEX file transfer lsted elsewhere and thats not the right thing.
