Okay, now I have the Terminator dongle (from ebay - came with CD-R with a bunch of poorly explained files on it). Before I proceed, however, can anyone provide me with STEP-BY-STEP instructions on how to unlock my AT&T T637? I want to unbrand it so that I get back the original SE icons and softkey functionality. I've read a bunch of posts talking about AVR CPU, DIV, RCwhatever, etc., but they all seem to refer to the T610. I want to know the procedures for a T637. Now they may be the same, but I'd rather see the words "T637" in a manual before I try something that may ruin my phone. Where do I get the software? What is the latest version, and does it work with the T637? What are the latest versions of firmware for the T637? What exactly needs to be flashed, all three areas I've been reading about (2 CPUs & GDFS)? What do these file names mean? Does anyone write instructions in decent English?

At the Terminator web site, there are good instructions. However, what I ended up doing is flashing my T637 with T616 GFDS to get the menu to look like it did with my T616. I don't use Messenger service so I didn't want that. The T637 also did not have a shortcuts icon.

What is the terminator web site address? And do I need to buy a dongle or anything to unlock my phone?

Do you know if their software works on T637. I do not see anything specifically for T637 at their site.
