Yes, but it's not done through there. When I first spoke to Orange, they said it was in the call divert section - it's not! Got a replacement phone direct from Motorola with no Orange software on - still nowhere to turn on the lights.

I think you can try Duceducs idea and see if the ringstyles way works. If not then ask motorola themselves how to activate the event lights, if they don't know maybe they arent ment to be used for what your asking.

I don't think that this feature is supported on the v3 even though the menu can be enabled through various phone tools.
The V3 has no visible service signal lights on the outside (green/ble/pink flashing LEDs) so it would be useless. (A Samsung clam shell is a good example)
There is one light that suprised me and that was the bluetooth light that glows a sexy neon blue when you are sending stuff to someone via bluetooth.....mmmmmm v3 full of surprises.
Who knows when the phone has been out a while you may be able to get it modified at your local phone shop, but then again would you really want to put your phones life in the hands of someone who prob dosen't know what the are doing.
Didn't think so!
Good Luck

Thanx for your thoughts! Spoke to Motorola and they say that it's not available on the V3. But according to the Orange handbook it is! Do you know what the little opening (looks like a smile) is under the Motorola logo on the fron flip? This is what I thought might be the event lights - obviously not. Thought also it might be the flash for the camera but Motorola don't seem to think so. The bloke I spoke to said it maybe just to make the phone look good! [/quote]

V3 only does video playback, not video capture - so it can't be a microphone. Obviously it not just for looks like the bloke at Motorola said - it has to be for something!
