i think you are right... besides now when it loads, it slowly appears on the desktop, where before it used to just appear quickly... and the skin list is as follows.... big breaths (an i'm only 16..lol)

It's was a big update, with the speed i got at work this updated still took me 20 minutes. But yahooo i got the skin for my 551 finaly
OMG it's going to take me forever to update my PC at home with a whooping speed of 56k

I have a cable and V3 CD on order. Hopefully, this thread will help getting it installed and running with a V551.
I am curious though. I have been told that one can do things like delete the stock video, pics and ring tones that are not used, boost up the volume for the speaker phone, and so on. It is not clear if one can do that with MPT or if other software needs to be installed? If it is other software, what and where does one get it?

what do i do if the only thing highlighted is the e-mail and information ?
i just got my mobile phone tool cd like last week and i tried to instal it but it didnt work so i reinstalled it and it worked but then the next day i was looking for a way to put games in the phone so i looked and found this site http://www.fonefunshop.co.uk/forum/...read.php?t=2728
i downloaded the pst and the other stuff and i tried using it didnt work so i uninstalled it and somethin happened during the use of it it made me upgrade something and now i cant use it, the multimedia studio is not highlighted, before it use to be highlighted and i could click on it but now i cant ive tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it million of times trying to get it back to work but it doesnt work can someone tell me whats wrong?

At the skin fone clikc on the menu icon ( just like with your real fone)you got setting--->General setting (F6)-->comunication-->modem exchange--> choose from list--> now on your left select motorola GSM. on you right look for your fone model select it --> finish noe it should work

Ya I'd imagine that the update was for driver (V3) and skin issues. But hey you never know what they slip into there softwares.

Has anyone been able to confirm if the current/full version of MPT works with the V505? I saw some posts saying it would work if you select the V500 or another model, but nothing was ever followed-up or confirmed which model worked.
If anyone can confirm and give some details on what you selected in MPT to get it to work it would be of help.

The only phone my computer fails to read so far is the V300...Thats the only phone that I cannot get MPT or PST to initialize. Anyone know why that is? I have a Moto USB cable and all but idk the cause of this strange problem.
