Hi,

I recently bought a RAZR v3i and got the usb cable, standard charger, and car charger w/ it. I initially plugged it up to the standard charger and it worked fine. then i tried it w/ the usb and it also charged fine on that. then i tried plugging it back into the standard charger and it no longer did anything. then i tried the car charger and nothing again. the only way for me to charge now is through the usb which still works fine. any help? i've tried pushing/pulling/angles and everything i can think of to try and get it to work but i get nothing. thx for the help

I have had my v3c for about thre months and it began having problems a month ago. It appears to be charging but it never takes a full charge. It seems that whatever the level the battery is at it will not take it past that point. I have had it sent in twice and have tried three batteries and three chargers but the results are the same.

Any ideas or similar problems?

Johnny,
Have you tried power cycling the phone? Pull the battery out then put it back in, then turn on the phone. See if that fixes it.

Yes, I have tried that but still does not seem to work. I'm thinking about purchasing a desktop cradle to charge the batteries outside the phone.

Thanks.

^^lol, my post wasn't meant for you icon_razz.gif^^

It could just be that your phone isn't reading the battery charge level correctly. With the original flash my V3 would do this as well, it would sit 1 bar from fully charged forever. I reflashed and haven't had that problem since.

Hi, what does reflashing entail?

Using RSD Lite to flash a reflash file

However you could try the battery fix:
Run the phone till the battery dies
Remove battery for a few minutes
Replace battery but do not turn phone on
Charge overnight with phone off
