bluetooth is a software that every now and again fails. you just need to turn phone off and then back on. It isn't the headset and any phone replacement would do the same thing.
True, no wireless connection is true. You sometimes just have to reconnect it buy re-powering. Thats why sometimes its just better to have a hardwire connection which is nearly always true.

I have had the phone for about <3 months...in the last 3 weeks I have been faced with BLUETOOTH Module not Attached. The first time they told me to RESET the master settings...UHG...had to recreate my personal profile. It just happened in the last 2 days...I haven't TOUCHED the phone since when it last worked bluetooth-wise.
This is unacceptable...suggestions...the next step is a permanent fix from Motorola or ...

Thank you! I called Cingular who gave me Motorola's number to call; they said 15 minute wait time; did a Google search and found your discussion and the "fix" and now back to using my Blue Tooth.
The Blue Tooth I am using is the one I purchased from a Cingular Store -- I ordered one online the beginning of March and it never arrived; called and put on hold for 43 minutes only to get hung up when it finally rang to a person (I presume); after numerous subsequent calls I learned that it was now backordered (the web site did not have the order up until then)...I went to the store and purchased one and a few days later I got an e-mail that said , "Unfortunately, either we have not heard from you in several days, or you have chosen to cancel your order." I still haven't gotten my money back....Cingular Store suggested I dispute it with my card and that is how I can get my money back.
Thank you for your help!

I have the same problem with my Razr V3. I have to turn off the phone and turn it back on and then everything is fine. It just loses track of the bluetooth module somehow.
I've had my phone for about 7 months and it has happened about 8 times so far. It's annoying, but fixable. The downside is I dont' know when it happens so I miss a few calls from time to time until I get it straightened out and can call back.
