hi,
I have a motorola v600 unlocked
it was orginally a cigular phone but i unlocked it and using it with tmobile but on the flip screen the outer side one.
It shows cigular there is there a way i can change that?
i do have a usb cable

The only way that will leave is by updating the phones firmware. Browse the Turtorial section if your interested.

You can customize the outer screen to say whatever you want. I think the character limit is 10. You will need pst to work with p2kman.
If you update the firmware as veilfore89 suggest, you will have a motorola logo instead.

Ok into more detail I wouldn't mind changing that if I can on mine. Please explain more detail on this subject.

you can change that by using a hex editor to edit the 004a_0001.seem, or get the moto tool that is posted under programs in the gsm phone section at http://www.easyidenmodz.com. it will ask you to open the 004a_0001.seem and you can put in whatever text you want.

oops, correction, the text that is displayed is actualy stored in 0061_0001.seem, and 0062_0001.seem. 004a_0001.seem tells the phone where to find it.

Well I'll have to sign up I think, but will that work with TXXX Series? Just as a reference because I want to do that.
