it is version 3.11Ld 07/013/2004 i have tried doin liveupdate but it wont let me

That could be the problem. Windows may install the wrong driver associate with mpt. What is the name of modem under control panel, phone & mpdem? It should say usb motorola modem (something like that).

yeah i have been lookin at that and for some reason it says motorola usb modem not functional

Hmm. If mpt doesn't allow you to do liveupdate. It is because the software is the lite verison. Try reinstalling it again. Remove the driver as well and direct windows to the mpt folder for driver.

i removed then installed it from cd but still says not functional

finally got it to say com2 which i assume is right but still i get motorola usb modem not functional
|
