If you do a search for 'PL-2303' or USB-to-Comm or something, you should find it with Google (and on this message board).
I downloaded it, however, and can't get the damn thing to work. I can't get my computer to recognize the phone as a modem (even though the driver installs USB to Com3).
Anyone have any suggestions?

Check out the above link for the drivers for the X426/X427. This assumes that you have the Prolific data cable of course.

This link will take you to the Susteen website, about halfway down you will see that you can get drivers that will enable XP to recognize the phone. I am not sure what this will allow you to do, but it is a step towards recognition of the phone on that USB cable. Here is a direct link for the driver for the 427:

Like you, I bought the cable figuring I would be able to do my own editing of songs, phone lists, etc. If anyone finds a software solution without paying $60 for various tasks on the phone, please post it here.

Hey, I don’t know if Data Pilot has what you’re looking for, but I’ve had pretty good luck with Mobile Phone Tools. You can connect to you laptop with your mobile phone. This thing finds all your isp router #s, you don't even haveto think about it. You can check it out here: http://www.bvrp.com/link_mobile_phonetools.htm.
Hope that helps.
