Well I called Cingular and they sent me a OTA Activation so now my text messaging works now, however it didn't help me with my Wireless Web Access... so I'm still waiting on that; and on getting a new data cable. DO NOT PURCHASE THE FUTURE DIAL CABLE, it won't work with Mobile Phone Tools

The problem is in figuring out how to enter that WAP information into the phone on the A630. I've pored over all the possible menu and sub-menu settings in the phone and I cannot see any way to enter the cingular WAP setup information. It seems to be hardcoded.

Images of a customer's phone with the Websessions enabled, Quaband enabled, Video playback enabled. The phone was tested on the Cingular and AT&T Wireless network, but the GPRS was set for mMode as you will see in the pics below. Enjoy!

your network setting should have that setting... I went to the motorola site...couldnt find that particular menu to set... but motorla menus dont differ much from phone to phone in the same age/technology group....
your phone is a quad band ... meaning that it is capable of 850/900/1800/1900 mhz carriers...from the factory they are set to auto scan.. in case that is not so... try this menu path...(from a V3 RAZR similar age and type) if you are in North america the only towers are 850/1900 ergo those are the only ones to be found... if you travel abroad you will most likely have to do this in the other country to pick up the foreign ntwork... sometimes the auto scan function leaves a little to be desired
From the stand by screen, press the Menu key.
Scroll to Settings and select by pressing the right soft key.
Scroll to Network, and select by pressing the right soft key.
Scroll to Network Setup, and select by pressing the right soft key. Scroll to Type, and select by pressing the right soft key.
Scroll to Manual, and select by pressing the right soft key.
Select Done, and select by pressing the left soft key.
The device will search for all available networks.
Scroll to the desired network and select View, by pressing the right soft key.
The device will display the Network ID.
To register on the network, select Register, by pressing the right soft key.

1) elmo, are you x-Blue? Cingular blocks most of the network settings in their menus. (my step-father has an old, Orange west coast SIM where those menu items you mentioned are available, but my other family members' phones have been blocked for those options)...
2) On Moto's site, the phone is listed as a tri-band in two configurations (850/1800/1900 and 900/1800/1900). If it is a quad band, why is moto advertising it as a triband?
3) Another thought on the original question... In the seem files for the V600, there are settings to block the phone from accessing certain frequencies. If elmo is correct, and the phone has a quad-band radio in it, you should be able to check Howard Forums for a discussion on modifying them. (Of course you'll likely need a USB cable that comes with MPT to make the modifications).
