Hello,
I just bought an unlocked Motorola A630 and am using it on my AT&T / Cingular network. Is there a way to set up the phone to use all the features? Can someone please explain how I can set up my phone to use the browser and AIM features?

Hello - although I really dont know what I am talking about, it would make sense to me that the answer is you cannot. Why would cingular let you use all of those features if you did not purchase their Moto A630 that is coming out next month? They are probably not going to have those features available until their A630 comes out..
But on another note - how is the service? Do you notice any kind of lack of service for getting it activated by cingular?

if someone could give jdv314 the settings, he'd be able to use the browser and AIM features- jdv only need to pay for the service. jdv314, i'd suggest you try using the settings people have posted for other moto phones to see if the would work. you don't have to buy a gsm phone from cingular to use with cingular.

So Gezim -
You are saying with an unlocked A630 you activated through cingular. Then you were able to (by using those steps) get the browswer to work right? Are you able to get your email and AIM to work also? Is the service just as good as if it were a cingular phone? Or is there a little less performance? Thanks!

Those setting are not working. someone else mention that I have to wait for cingular/att to add the A630 to their list of phones in other to use those features (email-aim-web). Every else works great. so far no problems.
thanks to everyone the responded.

Did you set it as your default GPRS? because this works with most of the new unlocked Motorola phones.
