my dads phone suddenly gave the same message (sim rejected) even without entering any code. can anyone help me also plz?

Hi, That seems to be quite a common problem with Sim Cards. Anyhow there are 2 reasons for it. (1) Your dads phone is locked to a single service provider (2) Sim Card has not been fixed in tightly. The Solution for (1) is you got to get it unlocked. Solution for (2) is you better take it a service centre. They'll fix it. I had this problem with my T610 they just sticked a small adhesive paper which was considerably quite thick. Then i had the problem with my P800 it was probIem no. (1). Bye,

thanks. but here in uae theres no need to unlock a phone, cause they're not locked in the first place. my dad got a fresh one from the service provider but with the same number

ok i was trying to put a password on my phone and my friend started
twiddling about with buttons then it came up with enter your puk number
this was on my older phone the samsung so i took out the sim and put it in the sony ericson then when i switched it on it came up with the screen saying enter your puk number i tried a couple of times and none of them worked what shall i do
ps i dont think i still hve the box if i do where abouts would it be
