Hi everyone,
I got Nokia 6230 from VODAFONE and I brought to US with me. I was trying to unlock it with codes, but apparently I messed up and the phone won't even be unlocked with the correct code.
I was wondering what are my choices. Unlocking with cable? how would it work and what are the requirments (cable, software?) could you please help me or post any link that could help me.
also it is true that if I wait 15 days the phone will reset its self so I can try to correct codes again ?!
Please I beg you to help me out.

If you enter code more then 5 times it is hard lock and you need to get cable and program to unlock it. What is your fone say the last time you enter the code?.
I think the different between the free unlocking program and the pro is the free one does not have enought exact detail so it is give out general code with may work with one verson and don't with the other.

Thank dude for helpin' me out.
It says that invalid restriction code. I am pretty sure its totally locked now. So I was wondering what kind of program and cable i need to unlock it.
Also is it true that after 14 days the phone will resset its self so I can try the correct codes on it ?!!!

Does flashing the phone make the phone to work slower?
Does anyone know about it?
I mean if it won't make any changes to the phone, I just flash it.

Thax mate for helping me out, but i think that the code won't work anymore. I have already used up my 5 times.
the only was is with cable. also i heard that after the 14 days i can again enter the code. it is true?

Hi, I never never heared about auto-resetting of a phone. But what I can help is take a look at the sticky on SonyEricsson Talk which says "Debranding, Unlocking...". Here you would find answers to your queries. And then your phone is stuck whith SP Lock, so best thing you could do is try taking it to a service centre. This'll make it safer. Bye,

My suggestion is you can use th code to unlock your mobile. You can purchase the code from unlocking4u to unlock your mobile
