Hi everyone! first post...
i've been browsing flip-phones and something about the s150 catches my eyes...i just have one question. rite now, i'm using an ericsson phone with a cingular sim card (for some reason, i like cingular and i want to stay with it). if i bought an unlocked gsm s105 and just put my current sim card into it, would the s105 work properly with cingular as it's cellular service??? it'd be great to hear from someone that actually has gone through this situation, but if not, i'll hear from anyone who knows. it sounds pretty logical, so im guessing my question is a stupid one. but just in case that actually wont work, im asking anywayz. thanks a lot, everyone! hope to hear a replly soon.

The Samsung S105 is a phone specifically for T-Mobile. It's based on the S100 international model. I'm not sure if the unlocked phone will make a difference, then again if it runs on the same network bands it might work. You might be better off getting an unlocked S100.

it does work! I do it all the time switching from T,mobile to Cingular or to Base or Proximus european network, all you have to do is unlock the phone

Even though you are using S105, not S100, it will work under any GSM provider IF THE PHONE IS UNLOCKED.
However, you will need to change WAP settings manually in order to use Cingular's data service. (The setting instructions are posted in this board)
