ive been reading some reviews on the phones that are availible for a verizon wireless customer and i was thinking about the samsung ach-670 or a vg7000 or vg6100 ive read many of the reviews and so far it seems that the vg7000 is the best except for its size
any recommendations?
i would prefer a flip phone with a color screen front and back

Do you mean LG 6100 and 7000? Personaly i don't like those phones LG is "ok" with their phones...But if you want flip and black give a look to Motorola's 265 and v710. Both have speakphone, camera but v710 has bluetooth technology a plus if you want to add a wireless hands-free set.
samsung ach-670 is aslo a very good model. i would pick either over an LG. But your money try it out, you hav 14 days, enough time to decide which phone you may want to use. IF you don't like model exchange for anothe. Just make sure you check with the Authorized Verizon dealer for returns/exchanges.

Hi, Sorry l don't have an idea whether it's availble on verizone. But here it is Samsung SGH S250 which comes with a 5.0 mega pixel camera. And then second suggestion Sony Ericsson V800, P910 which are indeed Clamshell (flip) models. Then you could consider on the Motorola MPX. Bye,

I recently bought the V710. I was going to buy the samsung until i read the posts here about the volume. I went to bestbuy and played with the phone. With all the noise in the store (weekend) neither my husband or i could hear the phone ringer tones and It was turned up all the way! I tried it at the verison store I could hear it there fine since there were not many customers. But honestly, I need to be able to hear it when I am out and about. The phone wouldn't do me much good if i never heard it ring! I love the V710. It is the best phone I have had so far. I love the speaker phone, being able to change the ringer to vibrate without having to open the phone, The bluetooth (wireless ear piece is wonderful) I have taken pictures of my family members so that their picture shows when they call me. There are so many wonderful features on this phone! I also am getting better reception than I have had with any other phone. So far, no dropped calls either. Do you research, and I am sure you will find the best phone for you. I did!

yeah foo,
nothing l looks better that a beefy v710 in your hand. The Grey+black face of the phone gives it a classy look and the fact that you have a 1 megapixel camera means that you can actually take decent pictures with it. The 5 megapixel camera that someone mentioned earlier is not available in the US yet.
The ringtones are loud, the speaker quality is great, you can listen to MP3s at a reasonable level. and the functionality is great. THough the biggest problem is the software on the phone. Its trips over itself and I dont know if thats a problem in other phones, i am a motorola whore. But yeah, if you already have a digital camera this is ideal. Just get the memory card for this phone (Transflash - i got a 128mb for $30!) then that transflash memory card will come with an adapter youcan put in your digital camera (given its a MMC or SD card) and then you dont have to buy the proprietary cable or software to transfer files from phone to computer. Oh yeah!!!

A fews days ago I purchased the Samsung A670 and found that is was ok, but in comparison to my friends lg 6100 it just couldnt match it. So I returned it and got the lg vx 7000 which is an awesome phone! The size wont bother you after about 10 minutes, it has the advantage in every aspect (ringtones and even the camera.) I was told that the samsung could take 15 second videos but with further review it can only take up to 12 seconds of video (with horrible lag) So if you are looking for a good quality phone without a sky rocketed price go with an LG
