Just got a V600.
All sounds work as supposed too EXCEPT ringtones. No sounds in the sound menu play.
Other sounds like beeps, keypad tones etc play.
I've tried messing with the settings to no avail.
Anyone know what could be the problem?

Did you modify your phone internally? Edit seems, delete lock ringers/wallpapers, etc???
If you didn't do anything to the phone, I suggest you bring it back to store for exchange if possible.
What ring style setting are you in when playing the ringers in your sound folder? You will not hear any sound if you are in silent or vibrate mode.

I have the same problem with my v600 all it does is vibrate and no ringtones work but i get all other sounds, i edited some seems but iwas now trying out the programs (p2kman and something else to edit the binary coding). Well basically i edited to files but i backed the up before i did anything and after that i tried uploading them again. And still i have the same problem. Any ideas on how i can fix this?

actually i now did that and i restared my phone and it is not working. Any other thoughts? By the way do you think the master reset will work?

whatever ringtones you took off you need to put back it sound like you didn't set all the ring styles to silent before you deleated them.

Ok thanx, wat i'm gonna do is get another v600 and copy everything in the audio folder and uplod it to mine, will that work? Also can u give me a step by step guide on wat to do when i'm gonna delete the ringtones. Becuz when u say set all to silent i don't understand what u mean

hey hardcorp thanks for all ur help, my phone is ringin again but i'm still not gettin into the details like to set my msg tones, right now i can't set anytones for my text, if u know how i can that to work let me know plz, it will be appreciated. Thanks
