Could you explain more in detail of your errors or what mpt is doing while trying to connect. Have you run the liveupdate?

If you have XP Service Pack2, there is a known installation problem (at least with MPT3.0 so assume for 2.0).
Don't know if will help but see sticky note at top of page.
XP SP2 takes over the device and won't let MPT install it's drivers.
Hope your problem and fixes.

Hi All, I'm new to this forum but I already share the frustration that many have had with MPT 3.11, bluetooth and V600. I have a MicroSoft bluetooth mouse so it already has it's own bluetooth transceiver. That being said, I never had the CSR USB Bluetooth Device installed on my machine. So I searched hi and low for the driver but eventually gave up. Originally, I installed MPT 3.11h. Then I discovered that the bluetooth device doesn't jive. So I actually went backwards and downgraded to MPT ver1.23e. Since that doesn't have the V600 in the db, I upgraded to ver2.16 (another file I had to download somewhere). So finally I got the software to recognize my V600... so then I upgraded back to MPT 3.11h again. Just when I thought all was peachy, I find that the darn software can't recognize my .mp3 files!!! Help please????? I've run out of ideas. I even ran a live update and that's still no good.
