Yahoo & Hotmail are real HTML websites, which the browser can't display correctly and because most wap providers don't support it (it's moire the providers fault than the browsers).
You can install the Opera Browser, which is freely available at www.sonyericsson.com (on the P800 site).
You would need GPRS Internet settings to use it (also available on the SE website).

i downloaded oper frm opera .com but does openany pages........but my normal browser does......wats the prob???thankyou

As I wrote, Opera needs GPRS Internet settings... don't mistake it for GPRS Wap settings!

GPRS Internet... not GPRS WAP...
Just have seen the Internet settings are not available at the SE website... but they should be available at your providers website, as written by safysaeed

wait u both dont get it......i have the settings and i visit WWW sites eg.www.mobiledia.com not wap.mobiledia.com in the default browser........but not opera....i downloaded the latest one from www.opera.com.later i dowloaded the old version from SE and that one works fine.but i need to use the new one with opera accelerator........any help?????thankyou

As I see, you provider doesn't seem to have GPRS, only plain GSM WAP via dial-up.
As I checked, Opera does work with some providers with normal WAP when the proxy is correctly set. For this you need to know the one of your provider.
