hey guys,

ive been reading this thread and you all seem to be a lot further on on this than i am. Well, i got my samsung d500 about a month ago. However, unlike nokia phones, it did not come with a link cable or software to syncronise or transfer data. So, i was just wondering how and where i can get a link cable and software to transfer data between my d500 and my computer (both ways). I am not that concerned about getting notes and contacts from my computer onto my phone but i would like this feature to be able to put photos onto my computer and MP3 flies onto my d500. The manual recommended EasyStudio but it is not very helpful about all the ways you can transfer data. Since you have tired bluetooth and infrared perhaps you can use your knowledge and past experience to help me out and advise me what is the best way to go about this. I have a Sony VIAO laptop intel pent.4 running the Windows XP home (not service pack 2). I would be very grateful if you could help me out as it would be great if i can get photos from my holidays to show my friends at school when i come back to the UK. If you do reply, please give an indication to where i can purchase this software and a price indication.(oh and where it connects to the comp. like USB or somewhere else) If you cannot, don't worry, this thread has helped me already and im sure that i will find a way to transfer data so thank you for you're help.

Many Thanks and Happy Easter

SamSam

Thanks Shakespere - what you suggested for the Belkin also works a treat for the D-Link icon_smile.gif

use file manager instead of the melody upload button. the melody upload only allows mmf files but file manager will allow you to upload mp3 to music folder.

I'm with Samsam I just recently bought my D500 and was upset to learn soon after that i can't yet transfer files from PC to phone and vice versa. The sales agent didn't inform me of this and I would like to know what type of connections/software i needto buy and where/how much etc.

Can anybody help?
