Hi Mj, sorry I can't offer any help, but I'm having problems with Easy Studio via IRDA and my D500... every time I try and transfer an image or melody or anything it just disconnects from the phone and goes out of range, the phone almost turns off and goes through the start up screen.
Very odd indeed.

Install BlueSoleil and make a Serial connection with your phone.

Does it mean that the problem is with the Easy Studio, or something in our system settings.
Same issue, i am able to transfer some files via windows appl. but easy studio shows offline.
Also wind. aplpication send successfully from PC to phone (like mp3) but when i try to sen jpeg from phone to PC it wont connect.
1 more question. I understand that Bluetooth paired with my system has com3 and 4 reserved for serial connection. When I call Samsung support, they tell me to turn on iRDA. Now I am confused....

Ok I found the bleedy problem. IT was the Service Pack 2 of Win XP.
It was taking control of BT adapter and not allowing other softwares.
I had to override the WIN XP control. Now Everythings works fine.
This is what i found out:
• If you have Windows XP service pack 2 installed and have a Belkin Bluetooth adapter installed the Microsoft driver will take control of he device and will render you unable to use the Belkin Bluetooth software.
• You can verify if this is the problem by looking at your system tray, you will see the following,
• As you can see the Belkin icon is red in the centre showing its unable to communicate with the device, and the Microsoft Bluetooth icon is present (Next to the clock) showing its that controller the adapter.
• Open the Windows device manager and expand the “Bluetooth Radios” section, you will see the following devices listed.
• Right click on the “Belkin Bluetooth Adapter” and select “Update Driver”, the hardware wizard will come up on the screen.
• If asked do not connect to windows update to search for software. Select the second option “Install from a list or specific location(Advanced)” and click next,
• On the next screen select the option “Don’t search I will choose the driver to install and click next.
• A list of compatible drivers will be shown, select the “Belkin Bluetooth Device” which is the Belkin driver and click next.
• The hardware wizard will finish and you will be left with the following in the device manager,
• Close all windows, you will now see in the system tray that the Microsoft Bluetooth Icon has disappeared and the Belkin icon now has a white centre showing its communicating correctly with the device.
• You can now proceed and use the Belkin Bluetooth software as normal.
