I went to the download section and went through the motions to get a polyphonic ringtone for my A800. I replied to all the texts - I sent SGH (I assume that was right, if not that could be the problem), then YES as instructed, then my phone flashed and vibrated (no sign of a message or anything else though). Aaaaaaaand...... the ringtone is not on my phone.
Seeing as I'm now a few quid down I'd quite like to know where it's gone, if anyone has any idea.

Strange  you said the phone was flashing and vibraded why did it do that? Was it trying to get a WAP Push message?

Could be... I assumed it was receiving the ringtone, but nothing came through and it didn't actually say I had received anything. Was there something else I was meant to do after texting?

After doing a search if your A800 supports WAP Push I found this http://forums.mobiledia.com/topic15760.html hope that helps.

My A800 did exactly the same thing for a few weeks ago. I sent an SMS that cost med about 2$ and shortly after that I got the SMS-ringtone. But I didnt recive any ringtone or message. Realy, realy wierd!
