You are using a serial cable, right? Good.
Is it the right cable? The E700 cable (PCB033LBE) is NOT usable on the E800 except for charging the battery.
The E800 cable is PCB133LBE should work fine with Easy Studio and other apps to add/remove firmware, upload JAVA etc. I am not sure that EasyStudio can upload JAVA anyway, just pictures and tones.
You might want to consider just downloading your java apps vi wap. Download BADBLUE (google for it) and set up your own wap server on your PC. Then add the wap mime types to the .ini file of BADBLUE and you can just point your phone at your IP address and grab your java apps from there.
I have done this successfully. I can upload Java, large (190k+) realtones and wallpaper via this method. |
So with the cable mentioned you can upload the Java games?
Because I heared somewhere else that everything was possible, but not the Java applications.
