Yes i have searched 'e800 games' in the samsung forum, and have read all 18 pages of the 475 Results! so dont ask me to doo more searching...
Two things i want to do:
1) upload a bunch of games via DATACABLE to my e800 p.o.s.
2) Possibily flash it with a new firmware...
...
-START Question 1-
OK: as i mentioned i searched these forums + google with this games peoblem but i can't find crap on it...everyone says *stupid voice* "...same as e700" BUT THIS IS NOT TRUE !!! my data cable works fine, and i have tried this method (http://www.hrjiwani.web1000.com/HTUJG.htm) numerous times on 2 different PCs and 1 laptop with 0 sucess. the computer just doesnt recognise any phone trying to connect to it at all... but my filemanager and other things works fine...
can someone just explain how to upload JAVA games onto an e800, from the amount of questions about this in the forum search, i dont think i would be the only person benefiting from a direct answer here...
-START Question 2-
just wondering before i put any brandless firmware on my phone...does anyone have a site that has pics of the firmware in use?

everything works fine (ie. i can connect to the phone and view all my contacts on my computer etc.)... the only thing is the instructions to upload games on a e700 dont work with an e800 handset...
so i was wondering if there was another way to upload java?

ok, first things first...
You are using a serial cable, right? Good.
Is it the right cable? The E700 cable (PCB033LBE) is NOT usable on the E800 except for charging the battery.
The E800 cable is PCB133LBE should work fine with Easy Studio and other apps to add/remove firmware, upload JAVA etc. I am not sure that EasyStudio can upload JAVA anyway, just pictures and tones.
You might want to consider just downloading your java apps vi wap. Download BADBLUE (google for it) and set up your own wap server on your PC. Then add the wap mime types to the .ini file of BADBLUE and you can just point your phone at your IP address and grab your java apps from there.
I have done this successfully. I can upload Java, large (190k+) realtones and wallpaper via this method.
