i heard that quicktime can play the files.....if not try "VLC player" Google it, download it, try it..lol

Yep, have the player and have played videos sent via email, but the problem is that the 3g2 file is embedded in a MMS file exported from the phone's memory bank. Since the 'video' folder isn't accessible directly like the photo or ringer folder on the phone, the trick is to save the message in your drafts folder. You can then copy that file, save it to the hard drive and view it's contents. What I have to find is the way to extract the video from the message as a viewable file. I am sure it's just a matter of time...

any way to rename the file ext.?
what is the file ext now?
why cant they just make it easy for us.we WILL figure it out..
keep up the good work, im curious, i would like to dump my videos on my PC

In the binary transfer on the file the file name and extension are both there. The bummer part is all I can get at the moment is the 'raw data' and not the file itself. The fact that you can get the raw data tells me that transferring the video itself is not impossible. So, now the fun begins!
