Hello...
I just purchased a VX6100 and was told there's no way to download pics from the phone onto a computer, that the only way to get pics off the phone is to message them.
Is that true?
Thx,
D.

I use Datapilot to move pictures from to phone to the computer. You can also use it to upload/download the phone book and ring tones.
www.datapilot.com
If you have the data cable you can download the software from their website (for a fee). I needed the cable.
BitPim is another program that will work on most phones and it is free, but does not support the 6100 yet
I hope this helps.

Try the free program bit pim. The latest version 0.7.23 officially supports the VX-6100.

Very nice, thank you. I'm downloading and uploading pics just fine.
Took me a minute to figure out that uploaded pics went to Media Images not Gallery.
Thanks again. Appreciate it.
