I'm experiencing an odd problem with MPT 3.11 and my new v551. I got the bluetooth working. I can access the calendar and phone book. However, if I load up the Multimedia program, I can't get it to connect to the phone. It loads, sits there, then won't connect. If you try any method of transfer, it fails. I tried just using exporer to send files to the phone, that failed too. Got the moto USB cable, tried that, same deal. Any ideas? Thanks.

anything. image, no dice. jpg, gif, bmp (tried all 3 just to be sure). midi, mp3, both failed. just seems like it's anything in the "multimedia" realm. But I did my whole phone book with MPT, and that worked.

I finally fixed the problem. I had to remove pairing in My Bluetooth Places and then go to the phone bluetooth menu and choose Device History and select the Computer bluetooth name and press the menu to delete it. Now Run the Mobile PhoneTools and delete the profile you used to use and create a new one, then fellow the process of pairing the bluetooth with your phone.
That's how i got it to work.

if the multymedia (just the explorer) part of the program opens and fails to read the phone (yet the rest of the program works... even video edit) then my guess is you have a conflict of some kind (com, AT). my suggestion is use a different USB port and redetect your phone...making sure you choose the motorola modem driver not your PC's <<<may sound obvious to some...but it has been known to help others
