They said my GPRS settings are still set to cingular, they had me change the WAP.cingular in my ip address to was.voicestream.com... thats all they did bbefore they were off shift, they said they'd have some techs from england call me today. I guess, they unlocked my phone for t-mobile use, but my phone has all cingular menus and options. |
If still not work you may want to flash it with Tmobile file that can be found in motox.us

Thank you so much for taking the time to help me!

V3:
SEEM 0032_0001
offset 40 - bit 6: SMS storage (0 for phone, 1 for SIM)
On the V3i:
SEEM 0032_0001
offset 9A - bit 1: Messages > menu > Message Setup > Text Msg Setup > Store To: (SIM/Phone) (1 on, 0 off)

You might be able to do it within the phone's menus. In my V195, I go to the Inbox, then press Menu, scroll to Setup and open that, then select Text Msg Setup. There is a Store To: item that can be set to either SIM or Phone. (I found out about that the hard way too, when my brother put his SIM in my phone. I'm not sure if that's a "feature"--so someone else can't read your text messages--or a problem.)
